Josh Peters
Managing Partner

Josh Peters has been a part of the golf industry for over 20 years gaining experience in development, construction, renovation, and design. Early in his career, he managed multimillion-dollar budgets on various golf properties, including several state ranking and top 100 golf courses.
As Managing Partner, Josh oversees all aspects of Verde Sports Construction. He is passionate about providing a cohesive combination of artistry and quality workmanship integrated into the intricacies of golf course features and systems.
Josh’s career began in Kona, Hawaii in 2000 crafting new golf courses for Nicklaus and Fazio working with architects and developers on extensive golf and landscaping efforts surrounding real estate development.
After Hawaii, Josh joined Weibring-Wolfard Golf Design in Dallas, Texas as a design associate. During his time there, he managed multiple projects that achieved the top Texas course list, including TPC Las Colinas Resort tour stop which received the 2008 Renovation of the Year by Golf Inc. Magazine.
Josh is a member of the Golf Course Builders Associations, United States Golf Association, and multiple regional Golf Superintendent Associations.
Paul Hagy
Partner
Paul started his career as a golf course superintendent primarily in the Dallas-Fort Worth market until he purchased Neese Materials, now named Texas Sports Sands, which is the largest supplier of golf course aggregates in the state of Texas and Oklahoma. In 2018 he sold the company to a private investor, and it still operates today.
At Verde Sports Construction, Paul focuses on finance, equipment, and long-term planning.
Paul also owns Performance Fans, which specializes in designing and manufacturing industrial fans for golf courses
Neal Iverson
Vice President
With 45 years of experience in the golf industry, Neal Iverson has a keen eye for project management, processes, and tracking. His career began in golf maintenance before transitioning to irrigation installation and design. Early on he developed concepts such as “Brown is Beautiful,” by designing irrigation systems that conserve water usage while improving playing conditions.
As Vice President of Verde Sports Construction, Neal focuses on overall company management, project tracking, and irrigation.
During his career, Neal completed projects across 10 states and seven countries while working with Pete and Perry Dye, Jack Nicklaus, David Kidd, Tom Fazio, and Tom Doak among others. Additionally, he successfully managed the Kukio Golf and Beach Resort Golf Courses: Hokulia and Nanea Golf Club on the Big Island of Hawaii.
Ryan Cassidy
Project Coordinator
Ryan is a true believer in Verde’s mission to provide a seamless customer experience. He enjoys utilizing his creative problem-solving skills to ensure that every project stays on course and achieves its desired outcomes.
Ryan has a wealth of experience with As-Built, GPS equipment, and AutoCAD, which he has effectively employed in his previous projects to deliver top-quality results. His unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction, coupled with his expertise, makes him an invaluable member of the Verde team.
